March
Saturday, March 2nd, 10AM-12PM - CANCELLED
Volunteer Gardening sponsored by ASNA
Our partners at Rec & Park have recommended a winter pause in our gardening work parties.
We have accomplished so much in the last few months-- planting trees, bushes and flowers, lots of mulching, good old weeding and last, but not least, trash & cigarette butt pick-up. We can now take a break and return in early Spring with many useful projects in our future.
Thank you all so much for an incredible year of volunteering. Because of YOU and your
ceaseless efforts, so much has been done to keep our beautiful, historic Alamo Square Park fresh, healthy and clean. And somehow, it all seemed enjoyable and fun. Even when the work was strenuous (tree planting!) you worked with a smile and keep coming back for more! Please mark your calendars for Saturday, March 3rd for our first gardening event of 2024; we'll make it an extra special work party!
