We are making all the necessary preparations for the upcoming Alamo Square Flea Market. You may have read that a small group of neighbors has asked us to either cancel or change the event. We’ve heard from a lot more neighbors who love the Flea Market and want the tradition to continue.
The Flea Market will continue for 2013, pending our ISCOTT permit hearing on Thursday, June 27. We have filed an application for street closure with the MTA (Cindy Shamban, 415.701.4683) and we have a hearing next Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 9:00 am. The hearing is at 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th floor, in the conference room.
