District 5 Neighborhood Meeting with Mayor Lee, July 21st

We hope to see all of our District 5 neighbors at the July 21st Meeting with Mayor Lee.

The meeting will be held at San Francisco Day School (Golden Gate and Masonic). Meet and Greet is at 7:00pm and the meeting will start promptly at 7:30pm.

The meeting specifics are:

Location: San Francisco Day School Gym (350 Masonic @ Golden Gate. Enter on Golden Gate)

7:00pm – 7:30pm: Get to Know Your Neighbors
7:30pm – 7:45pm: Brief Neighborhood Announcements
7:45pm – 8:30pm: Presentation by Mayor Lee and City Departments
8:30pm – 9:00pm: Q&A

The two topics for the meeting include:

Pension Reform Summary
================
Designed to save the City funds, the Pension Reform initiative would require city workers to pay a maximum of 12.5 percent of their salaries, and police and firefighters up to 13.5 percent, to cover pensions and healthcare.

Road Repaving & Street Safety Bond Summary
============================
The proposed $248 million Road Repaving & Street Safety Bond is designed to improve street scape’s for pedestrian and bicyclist safety, improve traffic flow and install sidewalk and curb ramps to meet the City’s obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
