Rebecca is a practicing Attorney and mom, who rides her bike to work from her home in D5 and sometimes drives a car.
The debate style is designed to bypass talking points and facilitate a moderated conversation that will get pointed responses to specific questions that are important to the community. The event is hosted by people who work directly with District 5 residents from all walks of life. The Divisadero Merchants hosts the Divisadero Art Walk; NoPA+ brings businesses together who want to support the community. Both groups are said to have an ‘ear on the street’, hearing community issues first hand. The candidates and incumbent will be allowed to cross examine each other and the audience will be given a chance to ask questions of the candidates. The event will be interactive and participatory and promises to be a great opportunity to network and meet people in the community.
