2019 Community Meeting on Housing, Workforce Development and Social Service Needs

The San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD), San Francisco Planning, and the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) would like to hear your input on City strategic plans for housing needs, social service needs, barriers to fair housing, and improving housing affordability.

Your input will inform the Planning Department’s Community Stabilization Strategy and Housing Affordability Strategy; MOHCD’s Consolidated Plan, HIV Housing Plan, and the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (www.sfmohcd.org/get-involved); and OEWD’s ongoing work efforts.

Art On Site Community Yoga First Fridays starting January 2019

Join “Art on Site” in an inclusive community gentle yoga class, focused on breathing, grounding, and healing movement.

WHAT: Cultivate mental relaxation, physical healing, and a playful spirit in a supportive community environment.

WHEN: First Friday each month starting January 4, 2019 from 12:00-1:15 pm.

WHERE: The generously donated space of The Center SF, 548 Fillmore Street.

TEACHER: Hien Tran, over a decade of experience with yoga instruction, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Integrated Bodywork/Massage Therapy, Energy Healing. Props provided. No previous yoga experience necessary. All community members welcome. Classes are free of charge, paid for by our community sponsor: Genesis Development, 400 Divisadero developer.

Fillmore Street Sewer Replacement, Turk to McAllister

Scheduled: October 15-December. San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Precision Engineering to replace the sewer main and some side sewer laterals on Fillmore Street from Turk Street to McAllister Street as part of the As-Needed Main Sewer Replacement No. 6 project (contract. No. 2631J/WW-621).

Muni service will not be rerouted during upcoming sewer work on Fillmore. A lane of travel will be maintained during sewer work for Muni and local access. Flaggers will be on hand to help direct traffic.

Construction activity is scheduled to begin the week of October 15, 2018 and work is anticipated to
continue through December 2018*.

Fillmore Street: Turk to Golden Gate:
Approx. October to November 2018*

Fillmore Street: Golden Gate to McAllister:
Approx. November to December 2018*

Work will include sewer main replacement, as needed side sewer and culvert replacement, street
base repairs and final paving. Please note, there may be a small pause in work between completion of the mainline and start of lateral work and final paving.

Work Hours*
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Some weekend work on Saturdays is planned to help expedite completion of this project. No work is anticipated on Sundays at this time.

Impacts and Restrictions
Street parking on the block may be unavailable during the different phases of construction. Access
to the public right of way/sidewalks and private or commercial buildings will be maintained at all times, however, delays are possible to enter or exit your driveways if crews are working nearby and need to create a safe path of travel for your vehicle.

“No Parking / Tow Away” signs will be posted 72 hours in advance with project work hours and
parking restrictions. Please observe parking and traffic signage and allow extra travel time in case of traffic delays during construction.

Please Note: Vehicles parked on the street during the posted work hours will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
