Waste diversion dumpsters delivered to Southeast corner of Hayes & Steiner
6’ Fencing installed w/2 temporary access gates

Saturday, May 19
Restrooms delivered to Steiner and Scott locations

  • Steiner – 34 Standard units & 3 ADA
  • Scott – 34 Standard units & 3 ADA
  • All units to remain locked until Sunday

Sunday, May 20 – Race Day
4 AM – Park cleared/temporary gates locked
5 AM – Signage installed
6 AM – Security and waste management teams on site
7 AM- Toilets unlocked
8 AM – Race begins
11AM – DPW & waste management teams begin work on Hayes
12 PM – Toilets removed at Alamo Square
1 PM – Hayes Street open

On the agenda:

  • Darcy Brown from SF Beautiful presents an update on the rehabilitation of the Turk and Fillmore Mini Park, upgrading the Blue Bridge on Fillmore, the Muni Art 2018 program, and other projects in the works.
  • ASNA Board Member Lee Stickles will provide a design update of the Turk and Fillmore Mini Park project.
  • Bay to Breakers representatives will provide an overview on this year’s Bay to Breakers (May 20, 2018).
  • New SFPD Northern Station Captain Joseph Engler
  • Alamo Square Neighborhood Association is exploring options for bringing Movie Night to the Park. Weigh in via our Google Survey, or come to our meeting to express your ideas or concerns.

This year’s Bay to Breakers is scheduled for Sunday, May 21.

Come hear about the plans for the race, and provide direct input to the race organizers.  We will have Eliote Durham, Bay to Breakers City Liaison, at our April 10 Alamo Square General Meeting, to present the plans and answer any questions you may have.
