Park Greening – Saturday, April 7, 2018

Join us for another volunteer day at Alamo Square!  Our volunteer efforts help to ensure that the park keeps looking better and better.

As usual, we’ll meet at one of the picnic tables near the tennis court. From there we’ll proceed to the sections of the park that our gardener believes need the most attention.
Coffee and snacks will be available.

Core Power Yoga Application for 619 Divisadero (formerly Health Haven)

Core Power Yoga has over 180 locations and is planning two new locations in San Francisco to add to their yoga studios in Mission Bay, the Marina, and Downtown.

They are hosting a required pre-application meeting for their application to open a studio at 619 Divisadero Street.

The informational meeting will review their proposal to add a formula retail yoga studio to Divisadero Street.  The pre-application meeting is required because as a formula retail use, it is subject to a Conditional Use hearing.  The proposal will require Planning Commission approval, like all other formula retail uses on Divisadero.

ASNA Donates $15k to Neighborhood Non-Profits

  • Western Addition Senior Center
  • Hamilton Families
  • San Francisco Skate Club / Eduskate

The Western Addition Senior Center provides housing opportunities for seniors in our neighborhood.  Hamilton Families helps homeless families find housing as well.  And the San Francisco Skate Club’s Eduskate program provides educational opportunities for local youth.
