Filming notice: June 11-12

Dear Alamo Square Residents,

Joy Asbury Productions, Inc., will be doing a still photo shoot for Target on Monday, June 11 and Tuesday, June 12,2012 in Alamo Square Park. We will be posting 17 No Parking signs on the EAST side of Scott St between Grove and Fulton Streets from 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM each day. Traffic into and out of the area will not be affected. All filming will occur within Alamo Square Park and the sidewalks immediately surrounding the park.

Our filming is being coordinated with the San Francisco Film Commission and the San Francisco Police Department. All required insurance and permits are on file at the Film Commission and will be present on location during filming.

We have also reached out to the Alamo Square Neighborhood Association and notified them of our photo shoot. We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation. We will treat your historic neighborhood with respect and hope to keep our short stay a welcomed one.

D5 Democratic Club meeting tonight

District 5 Democratic Club hosts a meet-and-greet for candidates for District 5 Supervisor.

Please join us from 7-9PM at Oasis Café, 901 Divisadero at McAllister Street and hear directly from your future Supervisor.

We’ll also be voting on a resolution introduced by club member Tami Bryant in support of Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, who has been suspended from office.  Please join us and let your voice be heard on this issue.
