Who doesn’t love a neighborhood carnival?! Come out for a day of fun, and support a small local public school at the same time. New Traditions Creative Arts Elementary – in the heart of NoPa – is hosting a “Little Big Top” Carnival to raise money for its arts program. There’ll be craft tables, entertainment, art, BBQ and fab old-timey carnival games like Ring the Bull, Gutter Alley and Penny Pitch, with prizes for everyone who plays!

Volunteers Needed!  Bay to Breakers is on Sunday, May 20, 2012.  You can help make this year’s Bay to Breakers Safe and Fun for Everyone!

Neighborhood Ambassadors direct runners to nearby restrooms, and keep the race on course. You’ll get a direct line to SFPD, and a free t-shirt! Come out and enjoy this great annual event with us!

Park Bond measure meeting 4/18

You are invited to the neighborhood meeting for the Park Bond Measure on Wednesday, April 18th 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Harvey Milk Photo Center (Exhibition Room). Districts 5 and 8 will be co-hosted by Supervisor Scott Wiener, Supervisor Cristina Olague, and the San Francisco Parks Alliance. The SF Recreation and Parks Department will attend this and other neighborhood meetings throughout the city to get feedback on priorities for the possible bond proposal for the 2012 election ballot.

This is just a friendly reminder to join us TOMORROW to meet your DCCC (Assembly District 17) JUNE ELECTION CANDIDATES and to qualify to vote at our May endorsement meeting! 

We are very excited to invite you to meet your Assembly District 17 Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC) Candidates on Tuesday, April 3rd from 6:30-8PM at Cafe Oasis, located at 901 Divisadero Street (cross street McAllister).
