Bi-Rite Market now to open next door to Nopa

Last year we had heard Bi-Rite had bought the Emblem Market Store at 736 Divisadero and planned to open a new grocery store with an ice cream counter. Well, here’s the latest scoop:

One-of-a-kind weirdness, a collection of shoes and flowers, has blossomed in this 12.7-acre park that boasts a colorful history, and picturesque Victorians on its perimeter. The Shoe Garden sprouted a decade ago and is still charming residents.
